Dakreparaties in Maranghada!
Al bijna 30 jaar zamelen de leerlingen en leraren beeldende kunsten van de Kunstacademie Noord-Limburg met tal van creatieve projecten geld in voor de meisjesschool in Maranghada in India. Dominik Martin, de drijvende kracht achter deze activiteiten, ontving vorige week dit bericht uit India:
Respected Dominik,
With deep gratitude here I come to say that 75% of the top roof of the school building of R.C, Girls Primary school Maranghada is repaired successfully with the help of the Euro 1000 you had sent. The remaining 25% of the repair work will be done later when we will collect some money. Because of excess heat the roof was cracked in many places and as a result there was seepage during rain. Class rooms used to get wet and children had problem to sit in such wet rooms. Hence it urgently needed repair. Thank you and thanks to your dear students who with great love worked hard to help our needy children."
